Frequently Asked Questions
How long does each piece take to paint?
The painting process may take an hour, or a day. What you hold in your hands is rarely the first iteration, and there were likely many discarded copies before I arrived at a version I was “happy with”. The piece you are holding may have been painted in an afternoon, but the seed of the idea was likely a long time in the making.
How will my art be packaged?
Your art will be packaged in a dustproof, waterproof sleeve, inside of a rigid cardboard backed envelope. It will be sent with tracking, so you can see exactly where it is on its journey from the Okanagan Valley (Canada) to your home.
I fell in love with a piece, but it is sold. Can you repaint it?
While I cannot recreate a piece exactly, I may be able to create something with similar characters or mood. If this is the case be sure to get in touch.
Do you accept Commissions?
The answer is, Yes and No. Let me know what you have in mind, if it is an idea that speaks to my strengths, I will be happy to take it on. If it is not quite right, maybe we can put our heads together and find another local artist that is a better fit! The only way to find out is to ask.
How do I Choose an Artwork?
Browse the gallery to find the piece that calls to you directly. They are all high resolution, so if you find one that you love, I invite you to print it out, and test it out in your hands. Is this piece the perfect one for you? If not, no worries. Pick another and try again. I want you to be sure that it is a piece you LOVE before you click. But when you reach a decision, be quick. Each piece one of a kind. There will never be another quite like it
How Should I Display an Artwork?
You can purchase a readymade frame, but if you have the resources, I would recommend visiting your local framer. They are experts in presentation, and can advise how best to mount your work, to match your décor and to show it to its full potential. You can show your new artwork in a way that fully compliments your unique taste and style. I recommend waiting until you have your painting in hand, before purchasing the frame to house it.
What if I change my mind?
I offer a 30 day guarantee on artworks. If you receive the piece, and it is not quite what you expected - Send the piece back to me, and I will refund you, no questions asked. If it does not sing to you as you hold it, return it.
What is the best way to stay in touch?
If you aren’t quite ready to purchase today, that’s okay! I invite you to follow me on Instagram, so you can see a little bit of my art each week, until you are in a position to own a piece of your very own
